The fourth meeting of the Comunidad Marco sobre Debida Diligencia en Derechos Humanos (COMADH - Framework Community on Human Rights Due Diligence), created as part of the PERIPLO project and led by the Business & Human Rights Resource Center (BHRRC) and Oxfam México, was held on December 1, 2022, in Mexico City. This community brings together companies and civil society organizations interested in advancing human rights due diligence processes and promoting good practices in recruiting and hiring in the agricultural industry.  

Preparing the ground for new harvests: organizations in the PERIPLO alliance share reflections, project results and new opportunities

On November 28th and 29th, the national and international organizations involved in the PERIPLO project met in Cuernavaca, Morelos to share reflections and results from the first 2-year phase of the project. Part of the meeting was also dedicated to considering how the work these organizations are doing together to transform the labor system in agro-industrial supply chains in Mexico and the United States could be strengthened in the future to ensure a more just and regenerative economy.
